It is getting more and more difficult to find and keep good, qualified QA people. Especially those who have the right combination of testing process knowledge, technical skills and business expertise. It's one thing to be able to find someone with some experience in a particular automated testing tool, but it is a lot more difficult, and takes a lot more expertise, to find someone who really knows how to test . . . or knows test process . . . or knows how to build and manage a test automation framework . . . or understands performance test strategy.
Our approach at Leverage Point is pretty simple . . . we do the dirty work for our clients! It has always been our belief that the only way to earn someone's business is to add value, and we don't believe that we can add value simply by shuffling resumes. We add value by really understanding the needs and culture of our customers, by finding candidates that they wouldn't see on their own, and by effectively screening those candidates to make sure that our customer's only invest their time seeing candidates who are qualified
We use the experience and training that we have gained both while delivering numerous complex quality assurance engagements and through screening and hiring hundreds and hundreds of candidates, combined with our knowledge of business and software testing to match the right candidate with the right job. And we focus only on software quality assurance, because without expertise, we would become just another body shop pushing resumes. That's just not who we are!
